1. Preserve available records

Export the records you need to keepUse the reports available in your read-only Stocky account. Keep historical purchase orders and stocktakes as records; they do not automatically transfer. Record supplier details manuallySuppliers cannot be exported from Stocky. Copy the contact details and terms you still need, and confirm lead times with suppliers. Document your current replenishment rulesWrite down the lead times, safety-stock assumptions and ordering rules your team uses. Confirm any old notes before reusing them. Check that your archive is usableOpen saved files and check dates and line items. Keep a separate backup before removing access to Stocky.

2. Connect Forthcast and check your data

Install Forthcast from the Shopify App StoreReview its current pricing and requested permissions, then connect the intended Shopify store. Open the App Store listing. Review the Shopify syncCheck the data and date range available in Forthcast before relying on forecasts. Keep Stocky exports as an archive; this checklist does not import them. Check product variants and SKUsCompare the products you plan to replenish with Shopify. Resolve missing or duplicate SKU mappings before ordering.

3. Review your replenishment settings

Confirm supplier lead timesUse your manually recorded supplier details and current supplier agreements when reviewing replenishment settings. Review safety stock and reorder pointsCheck Forthcast’s store-wide recommendations against your operating assumptions before adopting them. Reconcile outstanding purchase ordersIdentify what is already ordered or received. Review any new draft PO before sending it so you do not place a duplicate order.

4. Validate the replacement workflow

Compare recommendations with current recordsUse Shopify inventory, your saved records and supplier confirmations. Stocky can no longer run live inventory operations in parallel. Confirm the archive and team handoffConfirm your team can find retained records and knows where to manage inventory and review draft POs. Stocky cannot be reinstalled; preserve what you need before uninstalling.
