Zijn er echt geen kosten per SKU?
Yes. Basic Plan is a flat $19.99 USD (about €18.99)/month, with no SKU tiers or per-SKU fees. That is a pricing statement, not a promise that every catalog item has a forecast.
What happens after the trial?
The standard free trial lasts 14 days. You approve the recurring $19.99 USD (about €18.99)/month charge through Shopify, which handles app billing. There is no separate card setup in Forthcast and no publicly offered permanent free plan.
Kan ik altijd opzeggen?
If you do not want the paid subscription, cancel before your actual trial ends. Check the trial time remaining in Shopify; special offers and reinstalls can have a different duration. Use Cancel Subscription on the app's Subscription page. Uninstalling also cancels the subscription through Shopify. Check your Shopify bill for charges already incurred; cancellation does not itself promise a refund.

Does flat pricing mean unlimited forecast coverage?
No. The main forecast set uses sales history intersected with active inventory; new products without history use seed forecasts separately. A full forecast rebuild processes up to 300 SKUs when no explicit SKU selection is provided. Filtered incremental updates can cover more, so 300 is not a subscription tier or a store-wide forecast ceiling. Check your actual Reports coverage during the trial.
What to check during the trial
Install from the Shopify App Store and approve billing through Shopify. Forecasting starts after your order history syncs; no fixed setup duration is promised here. Confirm which SKUs appear in Reports and which use seed forecasts, then review a product's sales history, inventory and forecast.
Enter supplier lead times and check a reorder recommendation against the quantity, cash budget and minimum-order requirements you actually need. If you have multiple locations, confirm the stock view and purchase-order destination. Configure transfer locations if you want advisory transfer suggestions.
Open a draft purchase order and inspect the supplier, quantities and destination before sending anything. During the trial, compare these steps with the task you need to replace. Forecasts, reorder points and safety-stock planning remain store-wide; the app does not execute inter-location transfers, split an inbound order across warehouses or place orders for you.
Billing, forecast coverage and rebuild limits
Forthcast's Basic Plan is $19.99 USD (about €18.99)/month, billed in USD through Shopify, with no SKU tiers or per-SKU fees. Any local-currency price shown is an approximate reference, not a separate local tariff or a guaranteed exchange rate.
The main forecast set covers products with sales history that are also in active inventory. A catalog product with no sales history is not automatically included in that set. New products without history are handled separately with seed forecasts; Reports marks these with a Seed Forecast badge.
A full forecast rebuild with no explicit SKU selection has a 300-SKU processing limit. For stores with more than 300 SKUs, this path selects the 300 most recently ordered SKUs from the last 90 days. It skips the rebuild if there are no sales records, if a store with more than 300 SKUs has no orders in that period, or if the limit check fails.
Incremental updates pass an explicit SKU selection and do not use that full-rebuild limit. Forecast coverage can therefore exceed 300 SKUs. The 300-SKU limit describes one rebuild path; it is not a subscription tier or a store-wide forecast ceiling. Flat billing does not guarantee a forecast for every catalog item.
During the 14-day trial, check which products appear in Reports, which have a Seed Forecast badge, and whether the forecasts cover the products you need to replenish. Stock views can be location-specific, while demand forecasts and reorder points remain store-wide. If your requirements are unclear, ask info@forthcast.io before buying.
